Raging Blast 2 employs 3-D gaming techniques, with the camera shifting between over-the-shoulder and overhead viewpoints at key points. While the game was the second best-selling in Japan in November of its release year, it received criticism for its gameplay, controls, repetitious AI, and lack of a genuine story mode. The game includes a fresh recreation of the Dragon Ball Z Side Story: Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans OVA from 1993, now titled Dragon Ball: Plan to Eradicate the Super Saiyans. The game is a 3D fighter that allows players to play as characters from the Dragon Ball universe against the game’s AI or another player in one of the many modes of play available both online and offline. Spike created it and released it in early November 2010 by Namco Bandai under the Bandai label for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 gaming systems.
It is the sequel to the 2009 video game Dragon Ball: Raging Blast.
